Our Support Workers are very carefully selected during our Recruitment process.
When selecting staff, we are looking for a number of essential criteria, these are as follows:

Experience of running or assisting to run your own home
Common Sense
Empathy and a genuine interest in caring for others
Genuine caring nature
Ability to use own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Trustworthy
Honest
Reliable
Excellent Organisational skills
Willingness to complete induction and undertake all necessary training
Ability to follow instructions and Policies & Procedures

The following desirable criteria:

Use of own vehicle with business use insurance
Experience in the care sector
Flexibility
Willingness to learn and develop onto an NVQ Qualification/Diploma

We carry out a total of 4 Professional/Personal reference checks and an enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Disclosure on all successful applicants.
We then provide a full Induction and ongoing support.
