As government advice regarding Coronavirus advises all people over 70 years of age to isolate for a long period of time, we are all concerned about the well-being of society's most vulnerable people.
As an established care provider, we are very much aware of the amount of people who will struggle with their basic daily or weekly needs.
We want to reach out to support them and we are looking for volunteers to make this possible.
Have you been laid off, have time to spare, want to give back to your community and make a real difference?
We are looking for candidates that are able and willing to support vulnerable people in these uncertain times.
Volunteers will be reference checked and although a DBS is not required to assist somebody in this capacity, we would particularly welcome people who already have a DBS or who have had a DBS in the last 5 years - especially if the support being given involves entering the persons home.
We are looking for people who can support with: a cuppa and a chat, light meal preparation, shopping, collecting prescriptions and drivers to provide support to our Support Workers that are walking to attend calls to provide valuable care and support to our existing clients.
A very rewarding opportunity for those who want to give back to the vulnerable in our communities!Apply Now
