Meet our friendly Team, Over the next few weeks we will be adding our complete team so keep checking back for regular updates.

Nicola Beal

Director/Registered Manager

Nicola is part owner of Support at home. Nicola is involved in every aspect of developing the business. Nicola works full time in the business and works hard to ensure that the company standards are maintained. Nicola has worked in the care sector for over 20 years in a variety of roles including Mental Health and Children's Services. Nicola enjoys spending time with her large family and socialising.

Janet Powell


Janet Is part owner of Support at home. Janet works on marketing side of the business you may meet Janet at one of our regular events. Janet also is our NVQ assessor. Janet enjoys walking and reading.

Brian Powell


Brian Is part owner of Support at home. Brian has completed both P.C.I.T technical and man management courses. Brian deals with the invoicing, accounts and all aspects of IT within the business. Brian enjoys reading, and sea angling.

Wayne Beal

Director / Finance & IT

Wayne is part owner of Support at home. Wayne deals with wages and book-keeping withing the finance department, manages the apps, work phones and website. Wayne enjoys walking his dog Chase.

Kerry Powell

Office Administrator

Kerry has been working in administration for three years. This includes the newsletter, PassSystem(digital care notes) and general office work. Kerry moved up from Reading three years ago and joined the family business.

Andrea Dodson

Assistant Care Manager

Andrea is the assistant care manager. Andrea has an honours degree in business management and has worked for Support at Home since it was established in 2011, working in various roles in the office. Andrea is very passionate about providing the highest possible standard of care to all our clients. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family.

Lena O'Toole

Care Co-ordinator

Lena has a Diploma in Health & Social care. Lena also has her End of Life certificate. Lena has worked at Support at Home since it was established and is a very dedicated member of the team. Lena has worked in the care sector for most of her adult life and always strives to provide the best possible level of service.

Michelle Unsworth

HR Manager

Michelle has worked in Social Care since 2012, with previous roles including a Client Liaison Manager in a company dealing with the funds of vulnerable adults and Project Officer in a hostel for homeless families. Michelle has got her NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and enjoys learning new skills to bring to her role.

Office Dog

Cuddle Officer

This is Chase, The office dog. He is a giant labradoodle, he loves cuddles, playing with his squeeky ball and lots of walks. He also answers to Super Dog, which is what he is called by our young son.
