Support At Home is recruiting Domiciliary Care Support Workers in Halton to join our award-winning, family-run care team. Support Worker – Domiciliary Care
Location: Halton
Contract: Full-Time | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Salary: £12.60 – £13.65 per hour + mileage + bonuses
Contract Type: Permanent
Benefits:

Mileage paid at 45p per mile for drivers
(+ 25p extra per completed call)25p per mile for walkers

About the Role:
As a Support Worker at Support at Home, you will play a vital role in helping people live independently and comfortably in their own homes. You’ll provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual’s needs, ensuring dignity, safety, and wellbeing at all times. No two days are the same, and the role offers flexibility alongside meaningful, rewarding work.
Hours & Schedule:
Flexible working patterns available
Full-time and part-time roles
Weekend availability required
Shifts tailored around availability where possible
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, and medication
Meal preparation and household support
Providing companionship and social support
Safe moving and handling of clients
Supporting individuals with complex needs, including
Mental Health, Dementia, PEG, Stoma, and Catheter care
Requirements:
A caring, compassionate, and reliable approach
Good communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop
(No previous experience required – full training provided)Driving licence preferred (mileage paid), but walking roles available
